An open letter to the 13 million Filipino who vote for Noynoy Aquino written by Sam Manlosa is a product of a great mind. Reading the first part, I was really disappointed with his letter because he strike the other two presidential candidate Manny Villar and Joseph Estrada which I think will hurt the supporters of the said two candidates. But as I go further reading the letter slowly my mind was enlighten and my heart was touched by the very strong emotional appeal the letter has. Truly I say that this person is really a good observer and has a great love not only to the millions of Filipino but to our beloved Philippines.
He presented "Facts" which will support everything that he had written, I was so surprise and very happy to know that there are still person like him in our country. He was pretty sure right in saying that we should not put all the burdens into ones man arms but we should be vigilant enough to stand at the side of the person who will become our leader in a more years to come and support him all the way instead of looking back to the past and finding things that will pull him down.
If I will be given a chance to talk to Sam then I will congratulate him for writing the said letter which truly touched not only the mind of the people but the "heart" of the one reading his letter.
So I will end up my reaction by saying that;"A true Filipino can be determined not by his colors or the way he treats other people but the one who has "a heart of gold and a mind that speaks" so to say THANK YOU Sam for being the one.

"Halalan 2010, Ako ang Simula"
Historical, automated, transparent, efficient, precise and glamorous these are the words we hear after the election. However, challenging, inconsistent, unreliable and manipulative are the words we hear before the election. But what are really the most suitable words and phrases that describe the 2010 election? Well, lets go further.
The day had come, where everyone else all throughout the country are very busy thinking, searching and examining candidates to vote for, who will lead our country for the years to come. On the other hand thousands of people also in different provinces, cities and municipalities are very busy doing the opposite thing such as buying votes, convincing the other voters to vote and even uses force to threat the people not to go in their own precinct.
The whole day of May 10,2010 what I did was watching television from 6 in the morning up to 9 in the evening, so I can really say that as if I've witnessed the election all over the country. As early as 7am, a lot of "boto patrollers" already complain that the PCOS machine in their precinct is no longer functioning, while other voters are saying that it was the most terrible election they had ever encountered because according to them even the Board of Election Inspectors or the BEI's do not know how to organize their precinct, so to say they are very disappointed.
It is undeniable that there are really a lot of problems encountered during the election but at the end it turns out to be smooth. In just a day we already knew who are the leading candidates and the COMELEC had already counted almost 90% of the total votes all over the country. So to say, the best words and phrases that will describe the "Halalan 2010, Ako ang Simula" are historical, transparent, efficient, precise, less crimes and worth perspiring for.

A critic on a Position Paper: "No to Greyhound Racing in the Philippines"
The position paper I have read entitled "No to Greyhound Racing in the Philippines" written by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)'s is informative and interesting one. The said paper is all about the Bill that will allow Greyhound Racing in the country which is being workout by other lawmakers so that it will become a law, but thousands of people are against it specifically the PAWS.
In the said paper, they presented the reasons why the bill should not be pass. According to them Greyhound racing is cruel that it will lead to massive Greyhound breeding and killings; secondly Greyhound racing cannot be operated in a Humane manner and lastly the racing is immoral and unethical by its very nature which was the main reason why it is being boycotted and strongly opposed by many International Organization.
In addition the paper describe, define, illustrate and analyze each and every reason why Greyhound Racing or the House Bill 5291 should not become a law,for in the first place our country is already problematic in finding place for those thousands of displace dogs roaming around.
The most important thing here is that the paper has a very strong emotional appeal o the reader and it is really convincing that they have a good point in saying that Greyhound Racing can do nothing to our country but will only add burden not only to the people who are into it but to the whole Philippine society. As a whole the position paper was great and I really understand even feel the grievances they have, so to say I'm on their side and on their stand or wherever the authors stand I'm petty sure you can find me at his back. There was a clear and appropriate use of language which makes everything simple but convincing.

A Critic on the concept paper entitled: "Concept of Surveillance and Monitoring in Tuberculosis"
As I read the paper it is clear that the definition of the concepts are both sufficiently inclusive and sufficiently exclusive because it includes the writers desires to include and excludes all that it intends to exclude. But it is also noticeable that the development of the said paper emphasizes not on the relevant aspects of the concepts but more on the Health Systems issue which I think will lead to confusion and will catch the readers attention, so as a result they will not be able to stay in focus to the concepts being presented in the paper.
But despite of that, the concepts are being defined, described and analyzed in a clear language and syntax. As a whole the paper is a good and interesting to read, it enlightens readers mind while it introduces new concepts.

My Hometown
"The Tuna Capital Of the Philippines"
A beautiful place, an industrialized city, very rich in aquatic resources and the home of "Champions" that is my hometown "General Santos City".
Our community is of mixed colors.Red for a business community, green for the environmentalist who always at their best in saving our nature and yellow for peace lover. Anywhere you go, you could hear different tones and articulation of people languages.A wind that touches the skin like a smooth gentle breeze only happens if the sun is still beneath the moon.In the heart of the city, there you can find a very wide, clean and green area where most of the people during weekends spend their time.
Whenever there is a party whats always in minds is to feel the calm of the sea, to wear a sexy short and to swim like a wild fish.Well that is the tradition or shall i say the routine of the people in my place.
Looking around, a man with a gun wearing a uniform and standing in every corner of the street is the most common scene you can see. And talking to celebrations, every year on the first week of February you can see big and authentic smiles in the face of all people. As expected you can hear the shouting of the children riding in amazement. Oh! what a wonderful experienced it is to be part of the party.
I,myself will always be proud of that place where I've grown up and which marked not only in the Philippines but in the whole wide world.

From the Advertisement of Jamby Madrigal(April 23,2010, ABS-CBN,Channel 4)
"Ang asenso ng manggagawa ay asenso ng bayan" --Statement of Opinion----
For me it is really a statement of opinion, because although nobody will go against that belief but still it is from the point of view of the said candidate, even though that if the workers here in our country will progress, then it will follow development all throughout the country. This is also a meaningful statement which really try to convey a wonderful message that will inspire people to work harder.
From the Advertisement of Manny Villar (April 23,2010, ABS-CBN,Channel 4)
" Ayon sa Philippine Airlines at ayon ky jessica may 28,000 OFW na ang natulungan ni Villar".
----Statement of Fact---I say so, because it can be verified through a reliable source.

From the Advertisement of Noynoy Aquino (stated by one person in the said advertisement) (April 20,2010,ABS-CBN Channel 4)
"Isinusulong niya ang batas, kahit nakakasakit pa ito sa kapwa niya nasa gobyerno"
--Statement of Opinion---it is an opinion because it needs a detailed verification to prove that Noynoy really pursue Laws even if it is not the Will of the majority in the government. At the same time it is Vague, because even though the statement is meaningful it maybe loosely related to facts or experience so its truthfulness is hard to assess.
From the Advertisement of Manny Villar( April 22,2010.ABS-CBN Channel 4).
"Hindi ako naniniwalang hindi kaya taposin ng Pangulo ang Kahirapan"
--Statement of Preference--I say so,because it his in his point of view or shall I say that he prefer to believe that the President can really kill poverty. And also it is "Oversimplified, in the sense that he did not even specified what are the ways to do so.In its simplicity we can no longer picked up the real substance of the statement.
